Rajan-Indian Businessman Wins US $1M in Dubai Lottery
On Wednesday, 43-year-old Rajan Kurian from Kottayam in Kerala made a stunning US $ 1 million (around Rs 7.6 crore) and became the latest winner of the Millennium Millionaire draw.
Kurian explained that “I will put a good part of my winnings to help the needy. I should be grateful with the victory but I need to share it with those who need it.” He said: “The last few months have been tough with the COVID-19 situation. My business has come to a standstill. This money will be put to good use. ”
The draw was a lucky draw for India with 57-year-old Syed Hydrose Abdullah, an Indian expatriate living in Dubai, winning the BMW motorcycle in the same draw.
Both players bought their tickets online. You do not need to be located in the same country to play many international lotteries, Indians are able to play by purchasing online lottery tickets.
