Poker Sports League canceled Offline qualifiers

Due to the worldwide outbreak of COVID-19 and increasing cases in India, the Dabur Group Chairman Amit Burman-promoted Poker Sports League (PSL) has canceled its offline qualifier games that are in New Delhi, Bangalore, Mumbai and Mumbai. According to the organizers, participation in the qualifier of PSL season 3 has increased by almost 50 percent compared to season 2.

The original selection ceremony where team owners and patrons select players from various drafts was scheduled for April 30 but it is now uncertain whether the event will be considered planned or not.

A boot camp for the league, where players are given time to get to know their opponents and teams, is scheduled for 17–18 May 2020. The Grand Finale of the Poker Sports League, Season 3 is scheduled on 19 – 23 May 2020 in Kolkata. The league’s total prize pool was announced at around 40 million +, with the top four teams earning prize money according to their ranks.
