Global Sports and Betting Tracking

Due to the onslaught of the coronovirus epidemic in all countries, we have seen a dramatic impact on sports worldwide (and based on it, betting) in a very short period of time. Here we see each individual country’s notes on game cancellations.

The biggest gatherings have been banned in football, basketball, cricket, tennis, golf and the biggest events, as there are no return dates yet. According to research, only 2.22% of the countries of the world currently have sporting events, but even these are largely limited.

In Australia and the United States, horse racing and greyhound racing are currently still taking place – but at very restricted levels – and it is likely that lockdown-tightening measures will soon be repealed.

There are currently limited table tennis competitions taking place in Russia, but again, it is likely that we will see these canceled names as soon as possible. Some limited basketball tournaments are taking place in mainland China and Taiwan.

Belarus is the only country in which all major sporting events take place (representing 0.5% of all countries). The country has been slammed by international sports organizations for not temporarily postponing events.
