Rooter Raises $ 1.7 million in pre-series A round 2020
Sports content and engagement app Rooter has officially announced that it has raised $ 1.7 million in the Pre-Series A round on May 4, 2020.
The router is also partnering with Paytm First Games for cricket, fantasy sports and esports and gaming ecosystems on gaming and content. This strategy will help platform launch user monetization professionals. Currently, the router monetizes advertising on its website. The funds raised will be used to develop the router’s user base and capitalize on its upcoming smuggling and gaming content and communities.
The router enables users to connect on games and gaming in their preferred language through the creation and consumption of personalized game content. It was founded in 2016 by Akshat Goyal, Dipesh Aggarwal and Piyush Kumar.
Routers have so far raised $ 2.7 million in three funding rounds. It has over 8 million users including sports enthusiasts and professionals who develop and consume content.
