Will tourism department allow casinos in Karnataka ?
The tourism department in Karnataka is considering playing casinos to generate revenue and promote tourism. It hopes to attract international tourists through a Vegas-inspired gambling ground. The state’s tourism minister c. T. Ravi has talked about various aspects of the scheme Ravi said, “We need to learn from cities like Las Vegas to attract and entertain tourists.
According to Ravi, international tourists will be allowed to gamble at the international station while preserving the interest of the local public. According to him the gambling station will be a restricted one and will be set up in such a way that it attracts only a crowd of tourists.
According to Ravi, “Since the government prioritizes food, education, sanitation, infrastructure and infrastructure, the tourism department will have to come up with new ideas that have the potential to increase revenue.” It will only be allowed at a particular location where the government approves.”
Recently, Goa Ports Minister Michael Lobo suggested allowing casinos in Goa to continue operations on the Mandovi River and open new casinos on rivers like Chapora and Zuari to generate license GST revenue for their state. Supported the idea of legalizing the popular game of matka in Goa so that illegal matka operations in the state could be stopped and government coffers were filled.
