Hard Rock Atlantic City – Launch The First Remote Online Slot
The Hard Rock Hotel and Casino in Atlantic City operates 12 slot machines that can be actively played through the Internet. It is commissioned to allow players to operate physical slot machines inside casinos from far away locations.
The machines are connected to the Internet as part of a new company strategy in New Jersey to allow people to gamble on online new-life slot machines. The slot, which began on Monday, is located in the second-floor room away from the casino floor, where a troop of cameras is trained to allow remote players to see everything that is happening

The purpose behind this move is to help these machines make their regular New Jersey casinos feel more comfortable with online gambling. These special slot machines are designed like all other slot machines on the casino floor but have different techniques and procedures to allow them to be played remotely.
Any player with a valid internet gambling account can access remotely operated slot machines through Hard Rock’s existing online gambling web site. When all 12 slot machines are busy, players can join the queue to wait for their chance to play. Apart from this, other games are also available for players who are waiting in the queue.
“The difference between looking at a computer’s image can be easier to understand than the kind of machine a customer has been playing for years,” said Joe Lupo, president of Atlantic City at Hard Rock.
